In Belgium at the gateway to Liège and Namur


At the gateway to Belgium's Ardennes region, this original site, set in a regional nature park, houses an 18th century castle, three fishing ponds, swimming pools and excellent playgrounds. 

The site is situated about 25 miles from Liège, in an area renowned for its many beer breweries and chocolate makers.

Our estate "L'Hirondelle" (65 hectares), in the heart of the classified and protected Natural Park of the Valleys of the Burdinale and the Mehaigne, is located in an area where castles and castle farms will tear you attention.

The Natural Park, located in the triangle formed by the cities of Huy, Andenne and Hannut, takes its name from two rivers that crisscross its 11,000 hectares, the Burdinale and the Mehaigne. Different marked walks are available for you.

Because of its location, you can enjoy the following attractions:
- The town of Huy, the Castle of Modave, the Castle of Jehay
- The smallest city in Belgium, Durbuy
- The valley of the Meuse between Namur and Dinant (the Gardens of Annevoie, caves and the citadels of Namur and Dinant, Castle of Vêves)
- The abbeys of Maredsous, Leffe or Rochefort with a delicious abbey beer
- For sports nearby: canoeing on the Ourthe or Lesse and visit the Caves of Han-sur-Lesse
- Liège - Spa - the waterfalls of Coo - Hautes Fagnes ...
- Fifty kilometers of hiking or bike trails signposted within the "Nature Park".

Sportive activities on the campsite: two tennis courts "hardcourt", a football field, a multi-sports court, petanque and table tennis. Three trout fishing ponds are nestled on the edge of the wood.

For campers:
The sanitary blocks have hot showers and washing tables for vegetables.
For motor homes, a place is reserved for the emptying.

Our paddling pool will be heated from 18/05. Before the 18/05 and after 14/09, we will heat the paddling pool depending on the weather conditions. (number : 1 - opening date : 05/04/2024-03/11/2024)
The campsite has several water slides, which you can view in the pictures above.
The Spacebowl is a sensational slide where you will move swiftly down a path to arrive in a large bowl. The winner is the person who makes the most laps! (Minimum height requirement : 1m40)
The Racer is a slide with three lanes for crazy, but safe, sliding fun! 3, 2, 1: the fastest person wins! Children between 6 and 16 years old will love this slide!
A paddling pool complete with its own water slide, otherwise known as the snake, for children under the age of 6. Children can swim and slide in the safety of this attraction.
Ideal for children under 3 years of age, our colourful and playful paddling pool allows toddlers to experience the joys of swimming with their parents.

The minimum length for our water slides is 1.20m (excluding Spacebowl).

The campsite is closed to the public, only guests are allowed in the water park.

Carabouille and entertainment

On this campsite the Fun Dose is red. This means there is a lot of entertainment! In july and august, we offer the following:

-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children from Monday until Friday, from 10am until 12pm and from 3pm until 5.00pm.

-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.

-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 animators, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!
